How can we work within the wounds of severance to bring repair to the trauma-induced damage of people and planet?

Gail, one of the Co-Founders of Extinction Rebellion, and Miles walk from Brantham, Suffolk, to the nearby Stour estuary on a cold grey January morning. They chat about XR and protest, birdwatching, body politics, humans as a keystone species, psychedelics, and cultural change. Click for show notes.

Miles Irving

Miles Irving is an internationally renowned forager, public speaker and author of The Forager Handbook (Ebury Press, 2009). From an early age, inspired by walks with his grandad on the search for mushrooms, he took to the idea that nature was giving us a gift.

Curiosity and years of experimentation combined with a groundswell of interest in the links between food, body, mind and environment has led to Forager Ltd becoming a highly regarded wild foods enterprise. One with an eye always on the bigger picture; that of a world returning to the wild.
